Al-hamdu-lillah

I heard this story from my friend Ishaq Qadri, who happens to be from the descendants of Shaykh Abdul Qadir. A wonderful principle to bring into our lives. To praise God in all situations, and have trust in Him that it all happens for the best.

to find that one exults less over gain and grieves even less over loss is indeed the sign that one is being towed by the vehicle of sufism..

Simple, yet powerful. The Intellect understands, but to put into practice needs lot of efforts and HIS Grace. When you understand a religion deeply, one sees that there is no difference between religions at the deepest level. Alhamdulillah.

Alhamdulillah! (he he). Very good point. This is a very high state of imaan that most of us would have a hard time reaching, but at least we can remember to be aware of Allah in every situation, good or bad.
