Where is God’s Treasure?

I heard once that on the path to enlightenment, there comes a stage where the wayfarer realizes that all this time it was not he who was seeking God, but it was God seeking him! That’s so Beautiful!

The comic above is a Hadith from the Book Bihar ul Anwar. There are many such Hadith that can be found narrating the prayers & conversations with God with previous prophets, though several have not yet been translated to English.

The “40 Sufi Comics” are an essential read both for young Muslim minds and for those non-Muslims in the West whose minds have been affected by the Islamophobic propaganda of the likes of Michele Bachmann and Robert Spencer. The Vakil brothers have done a great service by publishing this book at a time when both Muslims and non-Muslims suffer from deep moral crisis. I am looking forward with great anticipation to the publication of their forthcoming book “The Wise Fool of Baghdad”. Incidentally, the “40 Sufi Comics” are available on amazon.com for USD6. I wish the Vakil brothers much success in the forthcoming years.
